Theme of the workshops is the illustrated book. 

1. Lecture:
Presentation of my book >Möllerei<. 
Presentation of special books from Germany.
Some examples of graphic wall design,
 possibilities 

 2. Discussion:
participants are invited to show books of
their own interest – favorite books/hate books. 
Correction/discussion of your results.

 3. Artisan:
 The contributions are brought into a
meanful sequence, and assembled into a book block
(Leporello), marked with the respective cover.

How to make a quick book. Dear participants of the workshop. Work out your contribution to the book,
one double-page according to the guidelines, as set out in the PDF. This is the creative part. The treatment of the subject >egg< is free. The funds the implementation of your ideas: drawing, illustration, photography, objects, text, typographic solutions, etc. and the combination of various means. Pursue an aspect that interests you and visualize an original statement. Be intelligent, ironic, funny, cryptic, critical ... 
Think of zoology, ecology, agriculture, nutrition, beauty, fashion, product design, art, art histo- ry, literature, poetry, language, politics, society, semiotics, religions, philosophy, advertising, economics, health, research, science, fantasy, siencefiction etc. Of course a good idea for an image can stand on its own. It may be absurd, paradoxical, crazy etc.
It is possible to use external images and quotes, but you should be able to identify the sources and authors. You can work out different proposals. We will select the most interesting solutions. Invent and design a cover for the book. Therefore use the mentioned format and the titel of this workshop. If you work with Adobe-InDesign, use the template, if not, please provide a PDF-file in the specified final format (210mm x 297mm). For the second day of the workshop you should print out your suggestions for the double-page and cover in colours in the specified format. We will discuss and correct all. For the third day of the workshop, please provide a number (depends on the number of participants +2) printouts of your double-page in the final version and a printout of the final version of your cover. Print the designs on bright white paper (80 grams) of good quality and with a laser printer. For further processing of the pages you need a good quality glue-stick some blank paper and eventually a flat object (spoon or something) to fold the paperedges. Finally all dummies and the leporello will be shown in a small exhibition.
